Privacy policy
Last updated: 30 October 2026
In short: this website sets no cookies. TimeFence and StayPaused do not collect, send, sell or share any personal data: everything they need stays in your browser. Our games are not released yet; the section on games explains how they will handle data.
This policy covers:
Who we are
NiAnimo is a brand of SC TrendWaves SRL · CUI 46005804 · Trade Register J2022002656234 · Registered office: Str. Lăcrămioarei nr. 35S, Berceni, jud. Ilfov, Romania, Romania ("we", "us"). We publish the NiAnimo website (nianimo.com), the TimeFence and StayPaused Chrome extensions and NiAnimo Games, and we are the data controller for them. You can reach us at hello@nianimo.com.
This website
Hosting
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA). To deliver the pages, Vercel processes the technical data every browser sends, such as your IP address and browser type, and keeps it briefly in server logs for security and operation. Transfers to the USA are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
Visit counts
We count page views with Vercel Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. Visits are grouped using a hash of the request that changes every day, and your IP address is not stored, so we cannot recognise you or follow you across sites. We see only totals, such as which pages were visited, the referring site, the country and the device type. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in knowing which pages people use (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
Cookies and third parties
This site sets no cookies, uses no advertising or tracking, and loads no fonts, scripts or embeds from other companies. Links to the Chrome Web Store take you to Google, which then handles your data itself.
If you write to hello@nianimo.com, we use your email address and message only to reply, and delete them when they are no longer needed for that conversation. Legal basis: answering your request (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
TimeFence
TimeFence is a Chrome extension that blocks websites you choose, or limits how long you spend on them each day. TimeFence does not collect, send, sell or share any personal data. Everything it needs stays in your browser, on your device.
What TimeFence stores, and where
TimeFence stores:
- the list of websites you add, and whether each one is blocked or has a daily time limit;
- your settings, such as a focus schedule, Strict Mode and a pause;
- the number of minutes you used today on sites that have a daily limit.
All of this is kept only in your browser's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local) on your device. It is not synced to an account and never sent to us. We have no servers, so we cannot see it.
Browsing activity
TimeFence can only see websites you add to it: when you add one, Chrome asks you to allow TimeFence on that site, and the access is removed when you remove the site. To block a site or count time against a limit you set, TimeFence checks the web address of the active tab. This check happens only on your device. TimeFence never reads the content of web pages, never keeps a browsing history, and never sends web addresses anywhere. It also checks whether you are active at the computer, so time is not counted while you are away; this is not stored.
Analytics, advertising and third parties
None. TimeFence contains no analytics, no advertising, no cookies, no tracking and no third-party scripts.
Payments for TimeFence Pro
TimeFence Pro is an optional one-time purchase. Checkout is handled by ExtensionPay (extensionpay.com) and its payment processor Stripe. They receive the email address and payment details you enter on their checkout page and process them under their own privacy policies. TimeFence itself only learns whether a purchase was made, so it can unlock Pro features. We never see your card details.
Deleting your data
You can remove any site in TimeFence's settings at any time. Uninstalling TimeFence deletes all of the data it stored.
Children
TimeFence is not directed at children under 13, and it collects no data from anyone.
Chrome Web Store User Data Policy
TimeFence's use of information follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
StayPaused
StayPaused is a Chrome extension that stops videos and audio from playing by themselves on websites, so they start only when you press play. StayPaused does not collect, send, sell or share any personal data. Everything it needs stays in your browser, on your device.
What StayPaused stores, and where
StayPaused stores:
- your settings: whether StayPaused is on, whether it stops videos or only mutes them, and the option to stop the next video;
- the list of websites you add, and the rule for each one (for example "Allow autoplay");
- while a tab is open, the number of videos stopped on it, shown in the toolbar button. This count is cleared when the tab or the browser closes.
All of this is kept only in your browser's extension storage (chrome.storage.local and chrome.storage.session) on your device. It is never sent to us. We have no servers, so we cannot see it. Only if you have Pro and switch on "Sync settings across your browsers", your StayPaused settings (the on/off switch, Stop or Mute only, the next-video option and your list of sites) are also stored in chrome.storage.sync, which Chrome syncs through your own Google account under Google's privacy policy. You can switch this off at any time.
Websites you visit
Autoplay can happen on any website, so StayPaused runs on every page you open to keep video and audio paused until you press play. On each page it only looks at the video and audio elements and at the site's address, to decide whether that site may autoplay. This happens only on your device. StayPaused never reads what you type or what is written on the page, never keeps a browsing history, and never sends web addresses or anything else anywhere. Its only network requests go to ExtensionPay (extensionpay.com), and only to check or restore a Pro purchase, as described below. They contain no web addresses, page content or browsing data.
Analytics, advertising and third parties
None. StayPaused contains no analytics, no advertising, no cookies, no tracking and no third-party scripts.
Payments for StayPaused Pro
StayPaused Pro is an optional one-time purchase of $2.99. Checkout is handled by ExtensionPay (extensionpay.com) and its payment processor Stripe. They receive the email address and payment details you enter on their checkout page and process them under their own privacy policies. StayPaused itself only learns whether a purchase was made, so it can unlock Pro features. We never see your card details. To remember a purchase, ExtensionPay keeps a random key and your purchase status in Chrome's extension storage, and StayPaused asks extensionpay.com with that key whether Pro is unlocked. "Restore purchase" opens ExtensionPay's login page, where you confirm the email you paid with.
Right of withdrawal. If you buy Pro as a consumer in the EU, you normally have 14 days from the purchase to withdraw from it without giving a reason. Pro is digital content that unlocks straight away, so this right ends once Pro is unlocked if you expressly agreed at checkout to get access immediately and acknowledged that you would lose the right to withdraw. If you did not give that agreement, write to us at hello@nianimo.com within 14 days of the purchase and we will refund the full price. This does not affect your legal rights if Pro does not work as described.
Deleting your data
You can remove any site in StayPaused's settings at any time. Uninstalling StayPaused deletes all of the data it stored.
Children
StayPaused is not directed at children under 13, and it collects no data from anyone.
Chrome Web Store User Data Policy
StayPaused's use of information follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
NiAnimo Games
Our games are not released yet. This section describes how they will handle data when they come out on the Apple App Store and Google Play: Sort Tubes, Match Lite, Pair Pop, Block Fit, Dockwing, Flow Link, Color Flood, Slide Merge, Ring Lock and our future games. They are free games that may show ads (including Google AdMob) and may offer optional in-app purchases such as Remove Ads. We will update this section before the first release if anything changes.
Information we may collect
Depending on the game version and whether ads are enabled:
- Device and diagnostics: crash logs, performance information, device type and OS version, to keep the game working.
- Advertising identifiers (iPhone): such as Apple's IDFA, only if you allow tracking when Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt appears.
- Advertising identifiers (Android): such as the Google Advertising ID, subject to your device settings and consent where required.
- Ad-related data: collected by ad partners (for example Google AdMob) to show ads, measure performance and fight fraud.
- Purchase status: whether you bought Remove Ads. Purchases are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play; we do not receive your full payment card details.
We do not ask for your name, email or address inside the games unless a future feature clearly says so.
How we use information
- Run and improve the games
- Show rewarded or interstitial ads
- Remember purchases (for example Remove Ads)
- Comply with the law and platform rules
Advertising (AdMob)
Our games may use Google AdMob (and related Google advertising services) to show ads. AdMob and its partners may collect device identifiers and usage data as described in Google's privacy policy. If we ask permission to track across apps and websites for personalized ads, Apple shows a system prompt; you can change your choice later in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Sharing
We share data with Apple (App Store, TestFlight, in-app purchases), with Google and AdMob when ads are enabled, and with service providers who help us operate the games, under agreements that limit how they use your data. We do not sell your personal information.
Children
Our games are meant for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for our own profiles. Ad settings and age ratings follow Apple's and AdMob's rules; parents can use Apple Screen Time or Ask to Buy, and Google Family Link.
Your choices
- Decline tracking on the ATT prompt (or later in Settings)
- Use your device's ad privacy controls
- Buy Remove Ads where offered
- Uninstall the game
Data retention and international transfers
Ad and analytics partners keep data according to their own policies. Purchase records follow Apple's and Google's retention rules. Partners may process data in the United States or other countries with different privacy laws.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for access to your personal data, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. Where you gave consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Because TimeFence and StayPaused do not collect or hold personal data, there is usually nothing for us to access, correct or delete; if you bought Pro and have a question about your purchase record, contact us and we will help. Write to hello@nianimo.com. You can also complain to the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro), or to the authority in your own EU country.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
